I am human and we all make mistakes

I am not my past

I am not perfect, and that is okay.

I embrace this new chapter in my life

I am thankful for my past but I no longer look back

I leave behind old habits and welcome new ones

I give myself grace for making mistakes

I release what is beyond my control

It is okay to close old doors

I'm a perfectionist who struggles with feelings and thoughts that if I don't do or get things right, then I will be deeply punished. These affirmations remind me that I am human, it's okay and I'm forgiven. I hope that they do the same for you!
