Finding The Opportunity

Here’s the reality: A lot of us are naturally good at wasting time… Now here’s the good news: I believe that being more and more efficient with your time is a skillset that you have to constantly work on. Which means… If you’ve sucked at time management in the past… You can start changing that TODAY. You can actually grow and develop the skillset necessary to actually get more done in less time. Does that sound crazy? Is it really that hard to believe that maybe you don’t HAVE to be the person you were yesterday… today? Let me help you… I am going to teach you how to follow 3 simple techniques that will build upon each other to help you start getting more s**t done…in less time. Here’s those 3 techniques: 1. Time to follow the “80/20 rule”. (aka the Pareto Principle) You have to realize that your brain has a limited capacity to process information, you have a limited amount of energy throughout your day, and… you technically even have a limited day because you only have 24 hours. So how can you bring your energy towards what matters most? Take your attention and throw it towards what matters most. 80% of your outcomes come from 20% of the actions you take. 1. Start batching.  Here’s what that means… Figure out what tasks you need to do, and determine the best way to do as many as possible in a sprint of a couple hours. (Maybe even minutes, depending on what you’re trying to accomplish.) 2. Use the Pomodoro Timer! The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method based on 25-minute stretches of focused work broken by five-minute breaks.
