In this episode of Run with Fitpage, Coach Bobby McGee, a 5X Olympic Coach speaks with Vikas, our host, and the Founder of Fitpage about biomechanics, what good running form looks like, and how runners can prevent or recover from injuries. Bobby has a degree in Human Movement Studies and formal post-graduate training in Exercise Physiology with a specialization in Sport Psychology & Perceptual Motor Studies.
He has since specialized in supporting coaches & athletes in the art & science of run coaching, run bio-mechanics & performance mental skills for triathlon & distance running. Bobby was the US Women’s Triathlon Lead in the Rio Olympics that produced a gold medal. Some of his current athletes are Ben Kanute, Jason West, Flora Duffy, Gwen Jorgensen, Taylor Knibb, Morgan Pearson, Kirsten Kasper, and Vittoria Lopes.
Vikas hosts this weekly podcast and enjoys nerding over-exercise physiology, nutrition, and endurance sport in general. He aims to get people to get out and 'move'.
