Identifying our mindsets is key to understanding how they may be limiting us and how we can shift them to achieve better results. For instance, a fixed mindset, which assumes that abilities are innate and cannot be changed, may limit someone's growth and success, while a growth mindset, which believes that abilities can be developed through effort and practice, can lead to greater achievements.

The number one way to change your mindset is through consistent practice of positive affirmations. Positive affirmations are simple, yet powerful, statements that help you focus on the positive aspects of your life and shift your mindset from negative to positive. Here's a 30-day plan to help you incorporate positive affirmations into your daily routine:

Day 1-5:

  • Choose a positive affirmation that resonates with you. Examples include: "I am worthy of love and success," "I am confident in my abilities," and "I trust the universe to guide me towards my dreams."
  • Write your affirmation on a sticky note and place it somewhere visible, such as your bathroom mirror or computer monitor.
  • Repeat your affirmation to yourself 10 times each morning and evening.

Day 6-10:

  • Create a list of three things you are grateful for each day. This will help you focus on the positive aspects of your life.
  • Incorporate your positive affirmation into your gratitude practice by stating "I am grateful for [insert affirmation here]."
