In this episode, I discuss pathological demand avoidance (PDA). PDA is part of the autism umbrella and is not in the DSM5, which can go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed as conduct behaviors. When everyone is in the dark, family law will focus on blame, instead of mental health awareness. Therefore, I discuss family law and autism, how family law does not understand autism, masking, hyper-arousal, the window of tolerance, and hypo-arousal.
