Wishing all the listeners a very happy new year. I thought I'd start the new year with something different. Today I'm going to share a conversation I had with my good friend and a coach himself, Gokul Krishna of The Bike Affair an year or so ago. The topic of the conversation was how to make your own training plan. I'm sure that the topic will be of interest and of use to many of you. It can be due to various reasons that you might not be working with a coach but still want to follow a structured plan to improve your fitness and work towards specific goals. What are the general principles you need to keep in mind while preparing a training plan for yourself? What is periodization, what is base, build and peaking etc. That is what we spoke about in this conversation. We were interacting over an app called Leher which was similar to Clubhouse. So, there is some interactivity and audience questions as well. I'm not sure either of those apps exist right now but I thought this conversation could be of value to some of us.
