According to the organizers, Romantika Uz Beas is the hardest Ultra race in India. With an elevation gain of 15000 meters in 670km such claims don't seem too far fetched. The race is so hard that there is only one finisher so far for the race. For the first time in 3 years of existence of the race, Kabir Rachure emerged as the only successful finisher of this Ultra race. We talk to Saran Preeti about the origins of the race and what makes this race so hard to finish. It was really interesting to hear about all the challenges that the race offers both for the racers and the organizers. It is great to see challenging events like this coming up to cater to the Ultra cycling community. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
