This meditation can help identify the source of your fear, the function (what emotional experience it's protecting you from) and what beliefs are at the root of it. In this meditation, we listen. Let me say that again, we listen. Some people call this parts work. There is a part of you carrying this burden or this fear, but it is not all of you. And it is probably not how God wants you live. In this practice, we are going to get in touch with that part of you that is carrying this fear and ask if there is anything you can do while Grouded In Christ, to help it cast off this fear/ burden. 1. Identify Discomfort in Body 2. Identify Fear/ distress underneath the sensation. 3. Feel for the original source (story) behind this pain. 4. Listen to the part of you carrying this burden. 5. Ask what mindset, beliefs need changing for true relief. 6. Turn to the Lord to affirm this and ask for additional truth. 7. Speak this truth to the part of you carrying this fear.
