I had the pleasure of speaking with Tony "The Tiger" Lopez ,  the IBF Super Featherweight Champion on my morning show on COOL 101.1 when I was surprised by one of the characters on my show "The Dogman" who set the interview up to surprise me.  At the time, we were very involved supporting the troops in the gulf war after 911.  We had created BAT Ribbons - "Bring Americans Together" in an interview to show their support. We create a red, white and blue ribbon folded like the previous yellow ribbon decals and attached them to American Flag pins for a shirt or blouse.  The ribbons were free and we were amazed at the reaction.  When then California Gov. Pete Wilson was seen wearing one, the promotion took off and we were even featured nationally on ABC News.  So, that's why Tony was calling in.  He wanted his BAT ribbon.   Great guy and a worthy Champion.
