The Chronic Pain Solution Podcast

29-01-2024 • 9 mins

None of us are immune to overwhelm.

Let's face it, Life is messy and healing from chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma and chronic illness is even messier.

This means it's natural for the nervous system to get flooded and we will default into survival mode time and time again.

But each time we default to the lower brain of survival is an opportunity to reclaim access to the upper brain of logic and reason.

So it's important to have a bunch of tools and best practices to help you return to an optimal zone of arousal.

And the more skillful you become at shifting from fight, flight, freeze, appease to a parasympathetic state of rest and digest the more flexible your nervous syste becomes.

A flexible nervous system helps you reclaim the presence, agency and power you need to heal yourself.
