In this episode, which is a part of my series, INGMAR BERGMAN Movie Reviews, I review SMILES OF A SUMMER NIGHT, which was written and directed by Ingmar Bergman. The film was released in 1955 and was a big breakthrough in Bergman's career, as he was experiencing depression, suicidal thoughts and the threat of losing a career if his Movie didn't make money at the box office in Sweden. Not only did it do well in Sweden, it was also an international hit! I review the film with YouTuber Nathan Jones! (His YouTube Channel Link Is Below). We discuss how beneath the comedy is a dark film, among many other things! https://m.youtube.com/channel/UChnXTN_a_lTctdU6twmpONQ Follow Nathan on social media at the links below!
