Il a débuté au cinéma avec un remake d'un film de George Romero, adapté Frank Miller, puis le réputé inadaptable WATCHMEN d'Alan Moore et Dave Gibbons. Il a repris Superman, Batman, initié (et enterré) la Justice League et aujourd'hui il nous propose son STAR WARS. Depuis son arrivée à Hollywood, Zack Snyder s'efforce de nous démontrer qu'il est un cinéaste geek, voulant offrir le plus grand spectacle que le cinéma puisse proposer, mais pour Yannick Dahan il n'en est rien. Pire, il empile un liste Topito de références de la culture pop sans jamais proposer le spectacle attendu.
