Why Women Are So Powerful

The Intentional Morning

05-12-2022 • 8 mins

In this week's episode, I wanted to take a second to propose a new thought and a new way of thinking that is incredibly empowering.

I've spent the last hour reading publications in Berkeley and the Stanford Medicine magazine that back up this idea, and I'm pretty excited about it.

My entire concept is on why women are so powerful in setting the tone and the energy of a space.

I think we've all been there when we've met up with a friend for coffee or a little lunch date or something. If they are really motivated and really excited about something, we leave feeling really motivated and really excited too. Even if it’s about other aspects or other projects that we're working on that do not involve that friend.

I know as a mom, if I'm feeling really stressed and really frustrated, my kids also start feeling stressed and frustrated alongside me. That's when they start bickering. That's when they start  taking their time and having a harder time getting out the door.

This happens because I hold the energy of our space and I have the ability to set the tone over how our house feels and the emotions of the people in it.

While it's a lot of responsibility, it's also a really incredible privilege and a really fun, powerful thing that I believe women naturally possess.
