This week in the month of March we cover the eponymous March story "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott.
Little women originally published in 1868 has been reproduced and retold so many times in attempts to bring together the three books which make up the Little women story. It is seen as a formative book for many young woman and tells the tales of the "March's" a group of four sisters and their neighbor Laurie as they figure out how the world works for them and thus we dive into it.
Discussing the effect of the story on different people of different ages as some love it some hate it, the complexity of the many many characters and how we pick our favorites from the cast we attempt to understand this romantic family period novel.
We may have also broken Jen as this is one of her favourite books and the like vs dislike was slightly more stacked against than expected as we chewed the plot.
