Last week we hit you with a Saint Valentine’s special that featured three works titled The Kiss, one of them by Romanian artist Constantin Brâncusi. Well, if that was your favorite one, then today is your lucky day, because this week’s episode is a spotlight on Brâncusi! Considered one of the pioneers of modernism, Brâncusi jumped on board the primitive esotericism train together with the greatest artists of the turn of the 20th century (Picasso, Gauguin, etc.) to produce sculptures defined by an emphasis on geometric lines and materials used.
