With a voice like no other, Ruf Valera started to host events by volunteering herself to family and friends. She then decided to improve her skills by attending various workshops on hosting and dubbing. In 2016, she eventually offered her services to the public by launching "Ruf the Voice Artist".

Aside from hosting events such as weddings, birthdays and corporate gatherings, she is also a dubbing and voice over talent. Some of her projects are Loudhouse, Anohana and The Asterisk War.

In 2020, she won as the first DJ in FHMoms DJ Hunt . Since then, FHMoms has given her  several events which allowed "Mommy Ruf, Ang Raketerang Host ng Marikina" engage with celebrity moms and guests speakers.
