Shane West is a Certified Personal Trainer and Life & Transformation Specialist who is passionate about fitness and motivating others. A New Jersey native, Shane specializes in personal fitness, strength and sports conditioning, basketball skill training, and motivational speaking; and enjoys working with trainees in both individual and group settings. He launched West Point Training to help people reach their full fitness and overall potential. He is part trainer, part motivational speaker who combines both skills to help people grow in every aspect of life.

Shane was a standout student-athlete in high school and was nationally ranked with offers to play basketball for several Division I programs, but poor decisions cost him this opportunity. The lessons learned from this experience helped shape his approach to fitness and training. As he likes to tell trainees, “THE WAY WE TRAIN IS THE WAY WE LIVE,” and encourages them to make the choices that will get them closer to their fitness and life goals.  Shane has trained celebrities, and college and professional athletes, including baseball legend Ken Griffey and Hip Hop pioneer Kareem “Biggs” Burke. He has been featured as a guest speaker at colleges and universities and had the opportunity to work with and speak to the St. Francis University men's basketball program.

Shane’s ultimate goal is to inspire others to become better and stronger versions of themselves by promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle through rational and positive thinking. He believes that by doing so, every aspect of our lives improves and our purposes begin to be fulfilled.
