Inna Budnytska was living temporarily in a Miami hotel when, on February 21, 2005, she was found dumped on the side of the road, viciously beaten, raped, and left for dead. The investigation into her attack quickly hit a dead end when no one could figure out how she left the hotel in the first place. She was seen on camera going up to her room, and then never seen on camera again. The case went cold, until Inna filed a lawsuit against the hotel, and the hotel hired private investigator Ken Brennan to look into the matter. It was April of 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts when police were called to the Marriott at Copley Place after guests on the 20th floor had called to report a woman lying motionless in the doorway to her room. The woman was 25 year old Julisa Brisman, and she was pronounced dead soon after arriving at the hospital. It was July 13, 1993. Just after 2 AM, a call came into 911 from a residence in the Somerset area of Bellevue, Washington asking for an ambulance. The caller said there'd been some type of break in, and that he thought his friend's parents were dead. The caller was 19 year old Sebastian Burns, and the friend he mentioned was 18 year old Atif Rafay. They’d been best friends since high school, and he and Sebastian were visiting his parents in Bellevue during the summer break. They’d been there for 5 days when this happened. It was two days before Christmas, 2015, when tragedy struck the Dabate house. The morning of September 1, 2015, Lt. Joe Gliniewicz was found dead in wooded area in Fox Lake, Illinois. Just minutes before his body was found, he'd called dispatch to let them know he was pursuing a small group of suspicious people into the woods. In 2017, David Josiah Lawson was a student at Humbolt State University with big plans for his future. He was the first in his family to go to college, and was majoring in Criminal Justice with plans to become a lawyer and later enter politics. But before the end of his sophomore year at Humbolt, Josiah Lawson was murdered. He'd been at a party with his girlfriend and some friends, when a fight broke out. At the end of it, Josiah had been fatally stabbed. Everyone knew who he'd been fighting, and it seemed it was very clear who had done this. But the justice system disagreed.
