Ravishankar Venkateswaran is the author and director of Punyakoti, India's first crowdfunded and crowdsourced animated feature film in Sanskrit. He started his career as a copywriter after a Master's Degree in English Literature. He was a pioneer and was instrumental in creating the first interactive multimedia CD-ROM based on Indian fables way back in 1995.

In this episode, Ravi shares his passion for movie making, the stint and coffee conversations that made his idea take shape. Joined by stalwarts of the Indian movie industry like Ilayaraja and Revathi, this animated Sanskrit movie has a very important social message to humanity. The audacious project and overcoming the fears of making the film. The unique approach adopted in making this movie - crowdfunding, 5 years in the making and launching it on OTT platforms and the various accolades the movie has garnered so far. Ravi makes a bold announcement during the conversation on his future projects.
