In converstaion with Madhavi and Venugopal, founders of Vistaraku, a social enterprise from Telangana.
Using natural gum, Vistraku makes plates and takeaway boxes out of leaves, with a cardboard layer sandwiched in between for strength and sturdiness.
Vistaraku was Inspired by the Indian tradition of using leaves as plates which are eco-friendly and good for human health.
Till now they have sold 50 lakh plus leaf plates.
