Research has shown that having age-appropriate conversations about pornography with children and adolescents helps them develop a healthy and respectful view of relationships and sex. Despite this, most parents don’t have these conversations with their children, due to fear of embarrassment.
The hosts discuss the current trends in children consuming sexualized online content and why it’s important to provide age-approrpiate sexual health information to our children.
They also discuss how parents can ideally respond when they catch their teens watching porn, and how to use ‘teachable’ moments to talk to their teens about porn.
