It's just the spring and the last couple of days for the Chicago White Sox have made that apparent. There are peaks and valleys during Spring Training and the Sox didn't have much to show for their play on Wednesday and Thursday. Dylan Cease had an extremely short and frustrating outing again the Kansas City Royals. He was tagged for 11 runs in just two-thirds of an inning. Cease could not locate his breaking stuff... or really any of his stuff for that matter. Cease took his outing in stride and does not seem overly concerned. He has liked his bullpen sessions and at the end of the day, he's got his health. On Thursday, the White Sox went with what appeared to be a very secondary lineup against Team Columbia. The Sox lost by a score of 5-4. Thankfully, it's just the spring. There is more praise for Hanser Alberto, the journeyman infielder that is trying to make the team. Pedro Grifol had some very positive things to say about his game as well as his personality. Also, the White Sox release a second wave of promotional night and stadium giveaways. Dylan Cease finally gets the bobblehead treatment in August.
