The Seattle Seahawks released their initial 53-man roster on Saturday with the Jadeveon Clowney trade not yet finalized. To make sure the team didn't lose anyone critically important on the roster, they decide to let Geno Smith go initially before adding him back to the roster on Sunday. Rob Staton of seahawksdraftblog.com joins the show to talk about his thoughts on the trade for Clowney and why he thinks this should make General Manager John Schneider a lock for executive of the year (an award he should have won for what the Seahawks were able to do in the 2012 NFL Draft). Rob also notes the striking amount of size on the Seahawks now have on the defensive line, and we discuss a defensive lineman they added to the practice squad who had been mocked to Seattle in the first round of the 2019 draft.
