Eugenia reflects on her challenges in finding a job when she was younger and as an immigrant. She reflects on her disappointment and how much she could have brought to the companies she applied to.

Now that she is in the driver's seat, she looks for candidates who are not only looking for a job but who have a willingness to learn and by default trusts them to get the job done.

According to Egon Zehnder, in early-stage and higher-growth companies, nothing is more important than making the right bets on people. With Harvard Business Review reporting 60 % of startup failures can be linked to employees who turned out to be a poor match for an organization during a time of rapid growth.
