A young black man, working out of town, calls his mom and tells her he is having problems at work, he's scared for his life, and is being harassed by ‘trucks full of white men’. He goes to the police and repeats the same concerns to them, but nothing is done to help him. A family member is sent to pick him up and bring him home. But when she shows up at the  meeting spot there is no sign of the man. When his severely decomposed body is found scattered throughout the woods of Taylorsville Mississippi, a month later, the police claim there is ‘no signs of foul play’. That's the base circumstance behind Rasheem Carter’s murder.
