Demonstrations have occurred at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University, Yale University, New York University, University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, and California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt University. Over 100 pro-Palestinian demonstrators were arrested at Columbia University, with similar arrests at New York University and Yale University. Police reported that 133 protesters were arrested late Monday, all of whom were subsequently released with court summonses for disorderly conduct. Google has fired 20 more employees in connection with protests against the company's $1.2 billion cloud computing contract with the Israeli government, known as Project Nimbus.
