In today's sermon, Rev Dr William Chang delved into the Theology of the Cross, a centrepiece of reflection during this Lenten season. At first glance, the Cross—a symbol of suffering and death—may appear as a mark of defeat and despair. However, through the lens of faith, it reveals the depth of God's love and the powerful enactment of His commitment to humanity. The resurrection of Christ three days later embodies the hope that has been promised to us. In emulation of Christ, we ought to patiently await God's timing. Let us pray for the eye of faith, so we may recognise the glory that follows our sufferings in Christ.
