On this show, we will narrate the and relive the events of one of the greatest epics of Literature - Ramayana. Set in Treta Yuga, Ramayana is considered as one of two greatest itihasas (Legends), the other being Mahabharata, in Hinduism. In this Podcast, we will narrate the story of life of Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who is married to Sita, Princess of Janakpur. On the request of his father, Prince Rama goes into exile for fourteen years. Travelling across lands with his wife & his dearest brother Lakshmana, he meets various clans, kings, acquaintances and makes friends for life. Among those, he faces King Raavana of Lanka, who abducts Sita.  We will also see how Ramayana was written, how the young Prince Rama was sent to forest in exile for fourteen years & later became a king of Ayodhya. In this episode, we will give a brief introduction to the Ramayana and how it came into existence. In the next episode, we will start our first season - Bala Kanda.
