The National Association of REALTOR®s has a code of ethics which states up front, "Under All is the Land."
Land (earth) is the very foundation of mankind.
We've lost our physical and emotional ties to the land due to one reason or another. And in the process, our physical bodies have suffered due to disconnect with the actual dirt beneath our feet. We dishonor those who went before us, whose blood, sweat, and tears is in the land.
Cody Johnson has a song called "Dirt Cheap" where big city developers try to buy an old man's acreage, which isn't for sale at any price because of his love for the land and what it represents.
