In Mark 10:32-35, Jesus and his disciples journey towards Jerusalem, He takes the twelve aside and shares with them the details of what awaits Him in the holy city. He speaks of being betrayed to the religious authorities, condemned to death, mocked, spit upon, flogged, and ultimately killed. Importantly, He also predicts His resurrection on the third day.
