Episode 83 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla starts with Raavan’s maternal grandfather advising Raavan to accept the powers of Ram and to desist from war with Ram. Raavan is advised to return Seeta to Ram and to compromise with Ram. Instead of heeding the advice, Raavan is infuriated. Raavan accuses his grandfather Maalyvaan of being in hand with the enemy and of wanting to harm him. After Maalyvaan goes away insulted, Raavan plans in detail the warriors who will be posted at different gates of Lanka and issues orders to the warriors and their armies. Ram is also engaged in consultation with his chieftains. Vibheeshan’s ministers have visited Lanka and have collected detailed information about Raavan’s armies. They have also collected information about the postings in different directions by Raavan. Based on the intelligence inputs, Ram orders various vaanar warriors and their armies to attack from different directions. After completing the job of posting armies, Ram decides to spend one night along with his army at the nearby mountain overlooking Lanka to understand the geography and terrain. (Ref.
