Lady Rhea's journey with Witchcraft began in 1967 at the age of 16 when she began working with a woman who introduced her to Santeria. The first time she worked with oils was at the Warlock Shop owned by Herman Slater and Ed Buczynski in Brooklyn Heights, New York, in the early 70's. It was through Herman, Eddie and Clinton Stevens she began her true training. Lady Rhea, Queen of Candle Magick, has long been New York City’s special, magickal treasure. She is a font of spellcraft, lore, and knowledge, both mystical and common-sense.

Lady Rhea is an author of The Enchanted Formulary which is not only a phenomenal collection of magical recipes, but also a complete and comprehensive course in working with oils. Some of the receipes in the book were created with Herman Slater, Eddie Buczynski and Clinton Stevens.
