This was a great episode with a great guy Sebastian Conelli. Sebastian is a actor, writer, and comedian. I think this was my first very solid show. Shit has hit the fan at the Matarese house with Joe's Phd wife out of town for four days and Joe left in charge. Joe had to watch the new Stallone doc Sly on Neflix twice to see if being tired is the reason he fell asleep during his first screening. Mike Joe's producer and sometimes voice of god didn't have time to catch the new doc and Joe busts his balls for using that lame excuse. Joe also watched the new Casey Affleck film Dreamin Wild and was blown away by the insane true story of two brothers who made a record in high school together in their backyard studio financed by their father who sold off part of their 1000 acre farm played by LLoyd Bridges. For the past year I've been playing in a softball league every Tuesday night, Tennis league on Thursday nights, and a over 45 year old mens hardball baseball league on Sunday mornings. With all of that going on in my life it's been very hard to not get injured as a 56 year old man. Plus my grey hair is getting greyer and greyer and that doesn't help my mind set either. Why can woman die their hair and nobody thinks that's cheesy, but if a man does it he's ripped on by others? My producer Mike Albanese and I discuss a situation with a certain player on my team who felt the need to tell me he didn't like the 1st episode of my podcast without me even asking, and if drinking and getting high before and during games could help or impair a players performance. It was a crazy week in the Matarese home as our son got caught taking his cell out in class for the second time by his math teacher. He's a junior high school and these are the crucial years for getting into a good college. Pissing off his math teacher is definately not a great way to get her to like you.
