After 9 years we’ve done it! THIS is the Classic Marvel Star Wars Comics issue that coincides with Sarah’s birth in March 1981!! Issue #48 “THE THIRD LAW” is an appropriately Princess Leia-centric episode in which she faces off against Darth Vader, and the Star Wars universe was introduced to the Garden of Butterflies.

  1. The planet of Aargau has been used in a few Star Wars short stories in 2003. These stories, Boba Fett: Maze of Deception and Aargau: For All Your Banking Needs, were found on the Wizards of the Coast website. Then Aargau found its place in the galaxy in 2009’s Star Wars: The Essential Atlas.
    As for the Zug system, this was mentioned in 2006’s The New Essential Guide to Droids and 2018’s Star Wars: Complete Vehicles.
  2. The Rigellans were also mentioned in 2003’s Aargau: For All Your Banking Needs"
  3. Rigell 7 is a planet in Star Trek the original series. It is also the home planet of Kang and Kodos from The Simpsons. These are the one-eyed green tentacled aliens with a glass dome. Rigell 7 in The Simpsons is a reference to Star Trek, not to this issue of CMSWC.
