People will do all kinds of things to draw attention to themselves. In the ministry of Jesus he did the opposite, doing things that could draw attention, but intentionally asking or telling people to keep it quiet. There was one time however that Jesus very intentionally drew the attention of everyone to Himself, the day He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. As we look at Luke 11:1-11 we will see some of the reasons why.
