Petland breeder, Campbell Bee, was arrested after police responded to concerns from neighbors about stray animals coming from his property. Authorities then discovered a horrific scene. Nearly 60 dogs and several cats were rescued from extremely cruel conditions at his property. Upon facing the charges against him, he proceeded to threaten to blow up the police department.
While Petland pet stores across the country claim that they visit their breeders and don't use puppy mills, cases like this prove what we have always said -- that you cannot trust what they say to customers or to lawmakers.
