No one loves the idea of themselves or a loved one going into a nursing home, but sometimes it’s necessary whether for safety due to decreased physical function, or due to cognitive impairment making living independently unsafe. Overall nursing homes have a reputation that isn’t great but in most cases nursing home employees genuinely care for their residents and try to make it as safe and homelike as possible for those living there. But in this case, one of those employees had a dark side victimizing people who are the most vulnerable amongst us.
