In the small town of Klingenberg, Bavaria, Germany, there lived a young girl named Anneliese Michel. Anneliese was a bright and likable girl who grew up in a strict Catholic family.

When Anneliese was 16 years old in September 1968, something strange began happening to her.

That night, just as the clock struck midnight, Annelise was abruptly awakened by what she could only describe as an immense pressure on her stomach. It felt as though an overwhelming force was pushing her down into her mattress. Panic seized her, and she tried to move, but her body was paralyzed.
