Is the situation at the border a crisis or emergency?  There is a proposed "border deal".  George outlines there are some good thins, some bad things, and some strange things inside.  Currently both Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson say the bill is an awful idea.  That could be true, BUT if the GOP dies not try to make some sort of border deal and instead say we should wait until after the 2024 election, is it an emergency?  If you feel we have a border "invasion" can we afford to wait a year, even with a deal that does not do everything we want?  Is something better than nothing?
