Dom asks Cullen about a situation that unfolded in Pennbrook Middle School, in which a student who identifies as transgender attacked another student with a Stanley mug. There are reports and upset parents pointing toward a potential chance to prevent the incident, with inaction from school leadership after student reports of potential impending violence. Giordano and Cullen wonder whether the refusal to take action has anything to do with the politics of the situation, and whether something would’ve been done had the student identified as cisgender.
