In Part 12 of The Transfer Student, Red is awake and thinking about the mystery she is going to solve with her friends. When she arrives at school she makes her way to her homeroom and waits for the day to begin. At lunchtime the group meets in the cafeteria to decide how they are going to solve the mystery of the Stinky Gym Socks. Kirt tells them the smell is gone but they still decide to head to the gym after school. When they are there, someone else comes into the gym. What are they doing there?
