Anger is the most destructive of all emotions. It puts a person in self-destruct mode. It is a strong feeling of intense displeasure, hostility, or indignation as a result of real or imagined threat, insult, frustration, or injustice toward yourself or others important to you. Anger unchecked traps us in a prison of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment. The longer we hold onto it and the more we defend it, it becomes a stronghold.
