The world is full of beautiful works of art by the likes of Da Vinci and Michelangelo. As great as these artists are, there is perhaps no better work of art than the human hand designed by God. The skeletal and muscular make-up of the hand is a miracle in the perfectness of the way they work. Though they are relatively small, the hands contain more than a quarter of the bones in the body. The bible mentions hand or hands over 1800 times in physical and figurative terms. Job 17:9 says he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. The pandemic has taught us that we must keep our hands clean to prevent the spread of the virus. In the spiritual sense, we must keep our hands clean to avoid picking up some small hurt or distraction that will harm us.
