But the depths of character, motivation, drive, purpose… Its depths seemingly bottomless and its message universal. I have watched and re-watched the episode a few times, with my kids, on my own, with friends, and every time I do, someone finds something new in it. Some thought or feeling or comparison that I missed. The tale, a standard one, but the characters a mirror into what it’s like to love and be loved and to be selfish and to be selfless and to be self-assured and be lost."
