Patrice Broderick, Actor/Nurse/Lifelong Learner Hometown: Grew up in Dedham, MA on outskirts of Boston. Showed early propensity for entertaining with backyard shows! Always loved dancing, singing, and living musicals. Acting: Began film acting only about 5 years ago. Won very first audition and first film role that included singing in a foreign language. Early film with Ponderous Productions- The Desert Rose- was a German speaking role. Is this still Texas Toto? Gosh my film roles have been mainly comedy- Elevation, The Cleto Show, The Mission, whilst I dream of murder mysteries/forensic/profiling and all that gruesome stuff that Ponderous is good at. Always practicing and training to be the best I can. Nursing: Have been a registered nurse some 37 years and now work in Hospice care of the dying. Lifelong Learner: Have 2 degrees at every level and now completing a PhD program at Walden University in Public Policy and Public Administration with specialization in International Nongovernmental Organizations. Have plans to make a public service announcement (PSA) and then a documentary film on the human trafficking issue. My motto taken from Liz Reeder Newbauer of Studio e, “Get out of your own way”.
