EP11 4 Essential Elements of my Healing Process (and key life skills)
Summary In this episode, we discuss the four foundational elements of my healing journey: deep listening, feeling your emotions, and integration. I share why I find it important to practice these skills to create more flow and ease in life. Deep listening involves actively listening to your body, mind, and spirit, as well as to others, to develop stronger relationships and emotional intelligence. Feeling your emotions is essential for processing and releasing held emotions, allowing for personal growth and wise decision-making. Integration, or downtime, is necessary to let the insights and changes settle in the body and to live a balanced and fulfilled life. EP5 Disease Prevention and Immune Support with Daily Rituals like Yoga with Dr. Elizabeth Ball
In this week's episode, I invited Immunologist and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Dr. Elizabeth Ball to talk about how we all can become more proactive with our physical health through understanding what actually happens in our body and immune system when we do or don't make that effort. Elizabeth is a highly-respected and well-loved Ashtanga yoga teacher, based in Lisbon, Portugal. With over a decade of experience, Elizabeth launched her teaching business in 2020 and has crafted a unique teaching method that blends her deep understanding of yoga and scientific principles. In 2023, Elizabeth founded Ashtanga Yoga Lisbon (AYL), and her dedication to making Ashtanga yoga accessible for all led to the creation of the AYL online Yoga Membership in 2024. This community-led platform is loved by its students and designed to reach a global audience and share the practice of yoga. ---- How to connect with Elizabeth: IG - elizabethannballIG - ashtangayogalisbonwww.elizabethannball.comUse Coupon Code: EMBODY10For either- a 10% discount to her online beginner's course for ashtanga yoga- or 10% off the monthly price for a 4 month ashtanga yoga membership --- Thank you for listening today, please share this episode with anybody that could benefit from it. EP 4.2 Anger Release Meditation

EP 4.2 Anger Release Meditation
This meditation has brought me incredible release and answers that I didn't know I was missing. I hope it does the same for you. Exploring where our emotional pain originates from can feel liberating and empowering. When we practice experiencing the physical sensations in our body that emotions create, we build emotional capacity and resilience - without suppressing or avoiding what we feel. You can imagine your emotional capacity like a muscle, it needs to be trained so that we can learn to fully feel through our emotions and get to the wisdom pearls and realizations that arise on the other side of the emotional charge. This meditation can bring up intense emotions. It can also bring up resistance, which may show in form of distractions, not being able to get out of your mind or having annoyance come up. Just know that's okay. Meet yourself where you're at and come back to this whenever you're ready to dig deeper, possibly connect to the root source of your anger and release held emotions. NOTE Please don't participate during driving or any other traffic interaction. Make sure you're in a safe, comfortable place. If you're pregnant, only breathe slowly in and out through your nose during the breathwork portion and take breaks if needed. If you'd like to share your meditation experiences with me, feel free to email me at: hello@vanessanaumann.com or dm me at instagram.com/vanessa.decodewithsound. So curious to hear all about your realizations. Please share this episode with anybody that could benefit from it, and if you haven't yet I would be incredibly grateful for your 5 star review - this helps to positively impact more people out there. Thank you and much love, Vanessa
