In the 21st episode of 9x Tashan Song Stories, we chatted with Nishawn Bhullar and Vishal Mishra, who told us the story behind their hit song “Toot Jayein.” Vishal said while he was aware Nishawn had a certain type of fanbase and style of music, he wanted to do something completely opposite and make a song that didn’t really belong to his genre. He said it took a long time for him to select the right song and that when he played it to some people after getting it dubbed, most people didn’t recognize it was Nishawn singing it.
