VGK began its five-game road trip with a 2-1 loss in South Florida Tuesday night. The Golden Knights had a slow start for the second time in three games, and the Florida Panthers took advantage by scoring twice in the opening period. The lone goal came from Shea Theodore of the VGK as he, and Jack Eichel have been carrying the load for the team since the All-Star Break. Theodore has 13 points in 13 games post All-Star break for the VGK. Bruce Cassidy wasn't happy with his team's start for the second time in three games. Sergei Bobrovsky deserves a lot of credit for stopping 10 VGK shots in the third period, when the Golden Knights started to push. VGK's lone goal was on the power play by Theodore. Following the game Cassidy spoke about shuffling some lines late. He said he did it because of some players have had prolonged inactivity on their scoresheet. Cassidy said some players need a change of scenery. He might have been talking about William Karlsson who hasn't scored a goal in 15 games. Cassidy might make more moves prior to Thursday's game in Tampa.
