Guest: Shanna Shelby, Denver Arts & Venues exhibition curator, creator of the Cultural Runway Series
Denver Arts & Venues has been presenting runway shows in conjunction with their exhibitions at McNichols Building. This October, they have two events that coordinate with our McNichols artwork – On October 8th they have Impact Day, they are workshops that are like minding with the exhibition and the runway. On October 14th they have the runway and this time the theme is Community. They have selected twelve designers who submitted designs through a competitive process. Most of the designers are local and a winner will be selected that night at the after party. The three exhibitions at the McNichols building are Culture Cloth, Community Cloth, and Woven Together.
