Guest: Katie Zarlengo Executive Director

Zarlengo Foundation supports schools and programs for learning disabled students, such as ADHA, Dyslexia, etc..  The foundation started as small family foundation just about 21 years ago and in the last 10 years ago they became a pubic charity.  They help kids from early childhood through college. They help schools and districts with things such as camps, audio books, field trips, teacher training, classroom resources, parent events and even scholarships.  They also have the Zarlengo Foundation Learning Evaluation Center that test to help decide if your child had dyslexia, ADHD and anxiety, autism, speech issues and others, then they create a learning profile so you have a better idea to help your child and can also give to their schools.  In November they have a comedy event to help raise money.  This year they are brining back Terry Fator and his Christmas show that will be held November 18th at the Bellco Theater.
